If you think it's easy to make a decision on a fishing trip
to a far-off locale, try doing some research on your own.
First, visit some booths at a sport show or two, and read
through all the color brochures. Next, go online and spend a
couple hours looking over websites from lodges and outfitters
that serve the destination you are interested in. They all
have great photos of big fish and flat-calm days, and claim to
have the best location, accommodations and staff in the area.
Finally, if that isn't confusing enough, get some second or
third-hand information from the friend of a friend who visited
the area you are interested in 10-years ago.
At Tracewski Fishing Adventures, we don't represent our travel
destinations by looking at a few websites then making some phone
calls. We are affiliated with a travel broker (Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Adventures)
that has seven full-time members on their travel staff who have spent hundreds of days fishing, guiding, managing and developing professional relationships at each of the
locations that are represented on our website. So based on first-hand experience,
they can answer questions on everything from what flies you'll
need for a mid-August trip to Alaska's Kulik River, to whether
or not Mexico's Pesca Maya Lodge offers a vegetarian option at
every meal. But what really sets them apart from some of the other
destination travel planners, is that first and foremost, each of
their travel specialists are experts on FISHING.
