Nearly everyone likes to see moose and visit waterfalls, and we have some great spots where you can enjoy both. Summer is the best time for these trips because moose congregate at remote ponds to feast on the seasonal abundance of aquatic plants that grow in the shallows. And summer hikes to waterfalls allow kids to bring their bathing suits and enjoy a backcountry swim.
Most of our moose viewing and waterfall excursions occur between the Moosehead Lake and Baxter State Park regions of north-central Maine. Depending on the desires and abilities of your group, these trips can vary significantly in length and methodology (on-foot, canoe/kayak, etc.). So please give us a call to discuss the details of the trip that you have in mind. Prices range from $175 for a half-day, to $300 for a full-day trip. Lunch and snack options vary and are based on the trip that you select.
