Our Introduction to Fly Fishing schools are held during the winter so that you can work on your fly fishing fundamentals in the ‘off-season’ and be ready to catch fish in the spring. For your convenience, we typically offer classes in two formats, multiple week night evenings or a weekend session.

Our first Introduction to Fly Fishing school in 2008 will meet from 6:00 - 8:00 pm every Thursday evening in February at the Ellsworth Adult Education Center in Ellsworth, Maine. Cost will be $75 per student. Please contact us for more details on this or other upcoming Introduction to Fly Fishing schools.

Our Basic Fly Casting course is an ideal follow up this Introduction To Fly Fishing school. Casting is done outdoors after the weather breaks in the spring and provides lots of hands-on instruction and practice.
